We have the last 2 Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, match for the third place and the Final. All the number 2 teams of their groups are eliminated: group A Mexico, group B Chile, group C Greece, group D Uruguay, group E Switzerland, group F Nigeria, group G USA and group H Algeria.
France and Colombia have been eliminated in the first 2 Quarter-Finals.
This means 6 group winners are still in the race: Brazil, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Argentina, Germany and Belgium.

Argentina – Belgium
Both teams have met each other 2 times in World Cup history, in the 1982 and 1986 World Cup. Belgium defeated Argentina in 1982 in their first group match with 1-0. Erwin Vandenbergh was the goalscorer. In the 1986 World Cup, Argentina was to strong and defeated the Belgians in the Semi-Final with 2-0. Diego Maradona scored both goals.
Netherlands – Costa Rica
Both teams never met in World Cup history!! This is the first time Costa Rica will play a World Cup Quarter-Final! For the Netherlands they will play a second World Cup Quarter-Final in a row.
